Return and Refund Policy 

Thank you for shopping at the IMO Staff Association Souvenir Shop. 

If you are unhappy with your order, please let us know by filling out the contact form or emailing staffassociation@imo.org.  

To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the product must be returned within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it and undamaged in any way. 

To complete your refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase to be presented.  

 

Conditions for return 

For the product to be eligible for a return, please make sure that: 

  • It was purchased in the last 30 days 

  • It is in the original packaging 

  • Clothing items must be unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached 

The following products cannot be returned: 

  • Products made to your specifications or clearly personalized. 

  • Products which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over. 

  • Products which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery. 

  • Products which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items. 

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion. 

Refunds 

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, an email will be sent to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed using the same means of payment as used for the purchase. For card payments it may take up to 5 business days for a refund to show up in your bank account.  

This policy applies to regular priced products and products on sale except for products with limited stock availability, in a final clearance sale or forming part of a special promotion deal. 

 

Exchanges 

Only products meeting the conditions for return are eligible for exchange. The returned product can be exchanged for either the same product regardless of color, size or branding, or another product of the same value subject to discretion of IMO Staff Association. 

Once the product is agreed on, you will be responsible for covering the cost of the shipment of the exchanged product. 

 

Returning products 

You are responsible for the cost and risk of shipping the product to us. You should send the product to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of product in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the product or proof of received return delivery. 

 

This policy is effective for all purchases made on or after 28 July 2022.
